Who Am I?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Oklahoma. I have also completed the course in Advanced Studies in Elementary School Science at the University of North Texas. I am certified to teach in Texas public schools, with certifications in Elementary Self-Contained grades 1-8, Language and Learning Disabilities grades PK-12, English as a Second Language grades PK-12, and I have a Gifted and Talented endorsement from Granbury ISD.
Grades K-6, Special Education/Resource classes for nine years
Fifth grade for 18 years, including ESL and G-T students. During that time, I taught all subjects in a self-contained class, and in a departmentalized structure, focusing on math and science.
In 2000 I co-wrote the modified science materials used by fifth grade special needs students in all Granbury ISD elementary schools. In 2001, I did the same for the fourth grade materials.
I would be happy to provide references at your request.
